Lil bit 'o thrifting today..

Wimped out, but found a couple good keepers. The item I have my dish scrubby on matches my Pyrex tea cups and salt 'n pepper shakers. This probably isn't the BEST purpose for it, but it REALLY makes my sink look cute...

Using the Eames Hang-It-All tutorial in real life!

I decided to give the Thompson Family-Life:Eames Hang-It-All tutorial a try!

I pretty much followed the tutorial but felt a lot less prepared or sophisticated than the tutorial writer!

They used wooden balls with a flat side and holes in them, we chose to use some without pre-made holes.

The room we're using the rack on has an orange theme going on, so we chose orange, sky blue, and black.

 My supplies!

Dining Furniture

It seems there are many ways one can go in regards to retro kitchen furniture. Astro..modern...diner.."Mid Century Modest" as Retro Renovation terms it..I thought I'd show a couple examples of these with a little background I managed to dig up.
